Surrounded by her family, Sue Ingold passed away at the age of 81 on January 7, 2015 in Federal Way, Washington
She was a uniquely strong, feisty and talented woman!
She left a legacy of many lives touched and bettered by her love.
Sue was a new year's girl, born in Columbus, Nebraska on January 1, 1934 to her parents Bernice and Everett Buy Brillhart. She attended Gulf Park College and then graduated from the University of Nebraska where she met and Married Jerome Barton. After the birth of their three sons - Steven, David and Richard, she and Jerry packed up the kids in a corvair station wagon and moved to the great northwest in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
She later married her high school sweetheart Lester Ingold and lived in Federal Way, Washington where her family expanded to include Les's children Jim, Leslie and Jennifer. Sue and Les traveled most the coastline of North America scouting aquaculture sites for Les Ingold & Associates, and then ran a custom cabinet shop called New Traditions before retiring.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and husband Les and is survived by her six children (Steve, Dave and Rich Barton, Jim and Jennifer Ingold, and Leslie Benson), eleven grandchildren (Barton Bodrian, Brooke and Michelle Barton, Cody Benson and Savannah Gardner, Sam and Mathew Barton, Leah and Tristan Ingold, Mikaela Schmidt, Ali Foster, Jessica Sadler and Jacob Ingold, and six great grandchildren.
Sue loved to cook, garden, sew, knit and jig saw puzzle, and thoroughly enjoyed neighborhood gatherings.
In her honor a celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, March 14 at the North Shore Golf Course in Federal Way
